happyhappysaturday!
Yesterday was simply a fucken awesome Saturday; since it has been ages i had the entire day to myself. For the past few months, because of the shortage of staffs and hectic work schedule, i've been made to work every weekend and i did not have the privilege of having the Saturday off. No kidding.
I had the day off from work on Friday because of my overdued christmas PH, and yesterday, instead of being on morning shift, they made me take a one day AL cause of the low ward patient quota. This always happens every Chinese New Year period. The doctors would try to get rid of as many patients as they could, and for those who didnt get the green light from the doctors to be discharged, they would just AOR discharge themselves. Haahaa. And once the CNY period is over, the patients would come and hospitalise themselves for god knows what reasons. Typical singaporeans.
Well, enough of the work talk. Yesterday was a day usefully spent with the family, loved ones, and the dearest boy. Had a reunion lunch with the family and relatives over at Sakura International Restaurant over at Downtown East. They were serving an abundance of food, and there were soo many people there. After what seems like forever and having our tummies bloated with food, we headed over to my place to chill chill kachang for abit.
The dearest cousin, Dee, and myself headed out soon after to meet up with the dearest boy. The plan was to have a double date outing; but Dee's boyfie couldnt make it, so she was left to tag along. And because the dearest boy could not get his parents car, he borrowed his friends' ride. I swear Abang Laily is a very nice guy; and a branded one at that! Heh.
So we headed to town to window shop for abit. Its no surprise that im not a fan of crowds; especially town, since its practically infested with loads of young peeps, the minah and matreps and a whole lot of wearers and wannabes. But yesterday, somewhat, i didnt mind the crowds and was fully enjoying myself in the midst of all that hustle and bustle.
The dearest boys' bestie, Elfidz, and his beau, Farah, came along to town, and the five of us headed down to Mount Faber's Henderson Waves. I swear the view from there was simply breathtaking. We explored the area and chill chill kachang for abit before seperating from each other. Dee, the dearest boy and myself headed to Newton to meet up with the girls for supper, while Elfidz and his beau headed down to Woodlands.
A ride back to Teck Whye to send Dee home. We got lost along the way cause both the dearest boy and the dearest cousin were unsure of the road back home. Heh. Lalan and the rest of the girls came soon after, after sending Shafa back home. I was abit upset cause we girls were supposed to spend some time together but some unexpected events had to come up. Lalan and the girls left; leaving me and the dearest boy to settle our issues.
Drove down to Tampines to meet Elfidz and his beau again, and we headed to East Coast; where we had our fair share of drinking and while the guys were busy with their so called "meeting", Farah and myself got ourselves better acquaintted. Turns out, Farah is actually an old friend of mine and we actually know each other in the cyber world. Haahaa. What a coincidence! Crazy girl, she is.
Well, the rest of the early morning was spent by the beach, with the dearest boy. And we left his crowd of friends for a drive around Singapore. I swear im a lousy co-driver; cause i kept falling asleep while the dearest boy was driving. I felt really bad lahh. Haahaa. But i made it up to him by dedicating a song to him; which was aired on Perfect 10. Sweet kan akuuu... Wahahaha. Well, the rest is history. Here are some pictures.
