I cried at goodbye. I was saddened by the fact that i wont be seeing the bestie for the next two weeks; due to my not being in town when he books out next week. Emotional; i know. Sometimes i think im crap.
Well, today was simply the best sunday ive ever had. A crazy afternoon with the girlies cum food feast, followed by further crapping with the bestie before he books in. Sheer happiness. I couldnt ask for more. Today was the farewell partay for our beloved Noorashikin Mustaffa, who will be heading to Melbourne, exactly 18 days from today.
Yes, that very same Shikin that ive known for the past 14 years and counting. The one who has such a contagious and crazy laughter, a wicked sense of humour and a super irritating sarcasm. That very same girl; that we all adore.
Its sad to see my pals slowly leaving the country one by one, and attaining their degrees overseas. Im proud of them of their achievement, i really am. But at the same time, i cant help but feel saddened that im short of a good friend as months pass by. My dearest Enaby has already long gone left us; and im proud to say, she's doing well there. Next up will be Shikin. And god knows who else might be next. Nevertheless, all the best to both my favourite girls. We'll be rooting for you back here in Sing. (:
After the crazy afternoon, it was off to meet the bestie to send him off. Earlier on in the morning, we had a row. I was so tempted to NOT talk to him today, due to him ditching me in the morning. Nevertheless, i shall not elaborate further. But after countless apologies and being the typical me; who always gives in to my friends, i decided to send him off.
Well, enough said. I couldnt resist not rubbing his head (which is not bald already; his hair grows super fast!). Sad part was i couldnt hug him in public since he was in uniform. Nevertheless, time spent with him was fruitful. Bestie's not complaining about army and well, he's still the same. Which is goooddd! (:
I guess i worry for him too much. Heh. Sent him off with all the other froggies, and headed back. 2nd day into my annual leave already; and so far, ive been gooooddd!
3 more days to go. Just 3 more days.
